ImportCarParts.com Site Usage Tips and Tutorial:
I know there are lots of you out there that are old pros at using websites and online order systems so this is probably not very intersting to you but for those of you that are new to this sort of thing here are a few tips to make it easier for you to navigate the site and find what you need...

On the main page there is a field for Vehicle and year. This is where you will select your vehicle make the the year. Just select your car from the Drop Down menu then select the year from the other menu.
NOTE: If you have an Original Equipment Part dealer # or a part # from another company there is a good chance that you can just enter that part # into the "Part #" and press go. If that part # is in our system then it will pop up and save you all the trouble of going through your vehicle model and year steps listed below.

The next window will give you a list of the vehicles for that year range. Select your car from that list. Be sure and choose the correct model and pay particualr attention to things like the engine size, 2WD or 4WD, LX, DX, Etc to insure you are looking up parts for the correct vehicle.

The next window will give you a menu of all the groups of parts for your car. There is a very handy tool on this page to help you find what you need fast and easy. It is the "Search box". If you know what you are looking for (Lets say Windshield Wipers for instance.) you can just enter Wiper in this box and it will find all parts for the windshield wiper. Looking for filters ? Just enter Filter in the search box and press enter. All filters for your car will come up.. The catagories for each type of part are also very easy to use and it is usually a good idea to click through them just to get a feel for what kind of parts we have to offer so you can remember for next time you need something.

After you select the part you want from the list or the results of the search box you put it in your cart by clicking the BUY button. This will put it in your shopping cart where you can change the quantity if needed then continue shopping. Continue selecting parts until you have everything you need then click Check Out.

This will take you to our Secure Area where you will enter your Billing and Shipping info. Enter all infomation as requested. The reason we have you enter your e-mail address twice is because that is how we contact you with a copy of your order and order # and if there are any questions or problems. Many times people will enter the e-mail address incorrectly the first time but almost never the second time. If they do not match you will get an error and you will have to make sure they are correct and match. Note that we will NEVER sell or rent your e-mail address to anyone. We hate spam too and don't want to promote it. After you fill out all the info click Continue Checkout to go to the order review screen. If there was a problem with anything you filled out on the form it will take you back to the same screen and highlight the problem area in Red so you can fix it before proceeding to the next screen. A note about the CVV2 Credit Card Security Code. Most people that shop online are very used to this and soon all mailorder sites will need this number to try and combat credit card fraud. Having this number means that you have the card in your possession and that it matches the card means it is a legitimate bank produced credit card.

The next screen will show you a copy of your order for final review, allow you to continue shopping, or select your desired shipping method. It will default to Ground shipping (Which is free if your order is over $150.00) You can also select from a variety of other shipping methods if you need the parts faster. This screen will also show you an accurate estimate of when you will receive the parts. Select the method you want and the new price will be reflected on your invoice...When you are all set click Submit Order and it will process the transaction. You will get a screen that gives you an order # and a tracking #. A copy of your invoice is also mailed to your e-mail address with these numbers as well. Keep these numbers or the e-mail that is sent to you for reference when there are any questions in dealing with your order. Always reference the order # when e-mailing or calling us as it will expedite us finding your Order Information for Tracking or Returns purposes.
